Make a Mighty Difference raises $1,500 in one week

A mighty big THANK YOU to everyone who answered the call this week and contributed to our Make a Mighty Difference fundraiser. We added more than $1,500 in just one week! We've now raised  about $6,700 on our way to a goal of $15,000. We are anticipating receiving some additional corporate donations, not yet reflected in the total. If your employer offers a matching program for charitable contributions, we encourage you to make use of this way to stretch your contribution even further.

As you consider the gift you'd like to make, please keep in mind that PTO is merely the funnel through which these funds flow directly to our students and teachers. In the words of fundraising guru and college president G.T. Smith: "Donors don’t give to institutions. They invest in ideas and people in whom they believe." Who is more deserving of our support than our fabulous Lucas teachers and students?
