Lucas Student Council is sponsoring a Hat Day fundraiser on Friday, Oct. 21. This will be a free-will donation benefitting the Lucy Jane Roth medical fund. Lucy, 2, is the sister of Jake Roth, a current Lucas student. She was diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor in August and is currently undergoing treatment at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics and Children's Memorial Hospital in Chicago.
Wear your favorite hat and donate an amount your family finds appropriate. This is a great way for the kids to support Jake and for the Lucas Family to support one of our own.
